Below you will find answers to many common questions about #BuckeyeLove.
What is Ohio State’s Day of Giving?
Day of Giving is an inspiring 36-hour event for alumni, students and friends to come together and support Ohio State. On Feb. 14 and 15, Buckeyes can give back and pay forward in support of their favorite cause, college or program. We encourage you, Buckeye Nation, to show your selflessness and #BuckeyeLove. You’ll impact Ohio State, our students and our future in limitless positive ways.
When is it?
Day of Giving will take place Tuesday, February 14, 2017 starting at 8:00 a.m. EST through 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
Why should I participate in Day of Giving?
When Buckeyes come together, great things happen. By giving back or paying forward in support of your favorite cause, college or program at Ohio State, you are making a profound difference in the Ohio State community and around the globe.
How do I donate?
Make a gift online at buckeyelove.osu.edu on February 14 or 15.
When the campaign is live, you can click the "Give Now" button at the top of the website. If you've reached this page before or after the campaign, please click here to make your donation.
What will my donation fund?
It’s up to you! You may designate any area of the university that is important to you. Whether your heart is with your college or school or you have an interest in a specific research initiative or student program, you are free to choose what your gift supports. When you make your gift, you can select from a list of colleges, schools and units.
What if I don't see my school or organization on the list?
If you do not see the school, organization or program that you would like to give to, please select either "The Ohio State Fund" or "Other." If you select "Other," please scroll down to the comments field and type in where you would like your donation to go.
How can I make a greater impact by becoming a Buckeye Leader?
Buckeye Leaders support Day of Giving by donating a leadership-level gift of at least $1,000 to support a challenge pool. These funds will be distributed to colleges, schools, units or student organizations as rewards for winning various challenges throughout the 36-hour campaign. Become a Buckeye Leader and extend the impact of your gift by inspiring other Buckeyes to invest in the areas they love most at Ohio State.
